Every year,Pushkar fair is organised in the north western state of Rajasthan in India.
Pushkar fair is also know as Pushkar ka Mela and it is usually organised in the month of November.
The Pushkar fair will take place between 20th October to 28th October 2018. People would travel for days with their livestock (Camels, Horses, goats) to buy and sell them.
Its not just about livestock trading, it is also an important occasion to socialize and mingle among themselves. Tribals also organize longest Mustache , bridal , dance, village sport competitions , ring fights and competition to break “Matkas” (Earthen pot used to store drinking water)
The Pushkar fair is organised near Pushkar lake and is a magical places for cultural and travel photographers.

The Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: You would fly to New Delhi Indira Gandhi International airport, India. You would be received at the airport and transferred to a luxury 5* Hotel in New Delhi.
Day 2: After Breakfast, we would leave New Delhi in comfortable air conditioned vehicles and travel to the city of Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The journey will take about 4 hrs by raod. We would check-in to a luxury 5* Hotel and take lunch. We would go to the world famous Taj Mahal to take picture and also to the Agra fort.
Day 3: We will get up early and spend time around Taj Mahal to photograph the beautiful monument in early morning soft light. After Lunch, we will leave Agra in comfortable air conditioned vehicles and travel to the city of Pushkar, Rajasthan.
Day 4: City Palace and Amer fort photography in Jaipur city.
Day 5: After Breakfast, we will leave Jaipur in comfortable air conditioned vehicles and travel to the city of Pushkar, Rajasthan.

Day 7: Camel Fair photography
Day 8: Camel Fair photography
Day 9: Camel Fair photography
Day 10: Return to New Delhi to catch your international flight.

Nilesh is a freelance wildlife photographer based in Milan, Italy and an experienced photography mentor.
Nilesh was born in India and before moving to UK / Italy, he has worked in the corporate world.
Nilesh is fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi languages and has ancestral roots in Rajasthan, India. His language skills and cultural knowledge will make it much more easier to connect with people to photograph them with their consent.
Nilesh uses Canon as well as Nikon gear and explains photographic concepts in ways which are easy to understand and practice.
Apart from organizing your luxury photography trips, Nilesh will accompany you to your destination, share his knowledge of Indian culture as well as help you with expert tips on cultural/travel photography and post processing.
Nilesh will recommend best places,timings and lighting conditions as well as culturally accepted ways of approaching men/women and children with a photo request.
Cost of the Pushkar Camel Photography Fair:
The cost of all inclusive Pushkar Photography Tour is GBP 3500 / EUR 4500 / USD 5000 per person on sharing basis. Single supplements may be available for small cost of GBP 299, which would give you own room throughout your stay.
